The above table shows the standard values for side milling machining. When cutting grooves with the tool, the speed should be 50%~70% of the above table, and the feed rate should be 40%~60% as the standard value.
2. Please use high-precision machine tools and tool holders.
3. Please use air cooling or cutting fluid that is less likely to produce smoke.
4. It is recommended to use sequential milling for side milling.
When the rigidity of the machine tool and workpiece installation is poor, vibration and abnormal sound may occur. In this case, the speed and feed rate in the table above should be reduced year-on-year.
6. Minimize the tool overhang length as much as possible without interference.

The NNC-4T 4 Flute Flat Head End Mills has a variety of diameters from 1 mm to 20 mm, and can be matched with different blade lengths and total lengths, helping processors to flexibly use it in different scenarios such as narrow spaces or large cutting surfaces. By combining different size solutions, a good balance can be achieved between processing efficiency and surface finish, suitable for diverse production needs.
It adopts a four flute flat head design with a 35° helix angle. The tool rake angle and back angle are carefully optimized to effectively reduce cutting resistance. It has a wider range of general performance, uniform cutting edge distribution, and can maintain lower vibration and smoother chip removal during cutting, while still ensuring stable cutting performance during high-speed processing.
In terms of manufacturing, NNC-4T flute flat head end mills uses high-precision CNC grinding technology to ensure sharp edges and strictly controlled dimensional tolerances. The surface coating uses the latest chromium-aluminum composite coating, which has excellent high-temperature hardness and oxidation stability, thereby extending the tool life and improving the quality of the processed surface.
This milling cutter is suitable for processing a variety of materials such as carbon steel, alloy steel, mold steel, stainless steel and cast iron, especially for workpieces with a hardness not exceeding 45HRC.
