55° thread angle: The thread angle of BSP G thread is 55°, which is different from the British standard tapered pipe thread (BSPT).

Cylindrical design: BSP G thread is a cylindrical thread and does not have a taper, so additional seals (such as O-rings or gaskets) are required to achieve sealing.
